My Approach
What will you get from it?
When you work with me, you’ll be supported by someone who genuinely understands what it’s like to live and work under pressure. I’ve spent many years in high-intensity, high-responsibility environments, and I know how easy it is to keep everything going - your career, your commitments, the people who rely on you - while quietly running on empty yourself.

Our work together is about improving the quality of your life and your experience of it, personally and professionally. We’ll take time to look gently at where you are now: what feels right, what feels off, and why. Through that understanding, you can begin to make choices that are more aligned with who you are and what you really need.

If you’re carrying the impact of past events such as trauma, loss, or experiences that have left a mark - therapy offers a safe space to process them. As that understanding grows, many people find they feel more empowered, more connected to themselves, and more able to live with clarity and ease.

What will we talk about?
We’ll start by talking about what’s been making you feel this way and look at the internal and external pressures that might be shaping your experience.

We’ll explore what you want to move towards, and what you’d like to feel freer from - emotionally, mentally, and physically. Setting an early direction helps us use our time well, giving space to process what needs to be faced and to reflect on how you can begin to ease the parts of life that feel painful or stuck.

This isn’t about a quick fix or a miracle cure. It’s about working towards a deeper understanding and a sense of acceptance of where you are, what you’ve lived through, and what might now be possible.

How will it feel?
Learning to understand yourself more deeply can take time and may not always feel easy.
At times, therapy can bring discomfort or uncertainty, as you begin to see yourself and your life from new perspectives. But this process is also where growth happens.
The work is a gradual, meaningful movement towards living with more clarity, balance, and self-understanding - always at your own pace, and guided by what truly matters to you.
How do I work?
My aim is to really get to know you not just the challenges you’re facing, but the broader story of your life: what has shaped you, what matters to you, and how you relate to the world around you.

We begin by creating a space that feels supportive, safe, and respectful. A place where you can bring the parts of yourself that are often hidden or overlooked. From the relationship we build together, we can start to make sense of patterns in your life: how you form relationships, what you’re drawn to, and why certain situations seem to repeat themselves.

Through this process, you may come to see more clearly what you want to change, what you want to nurture, and how to live in a way that feels more authentic and fulfilling. Compassionate enquiry and empathy are the foundations of how I work.

I also understand that there are times life feels especially acute, when you’re facing professional strain, personal crisis, or profound change. Having navigated significant health challenges myself, and having spent many years in demanding professional environments, I know how crucial it is to feel supported and trusted during those moments.
What are the practicalities?
I offer sessions either online or in person, depending on what works best for you and where you’re based.

I usually suggest meeting weekly as consistency helps the work deepen, but I understand that professional and personal demands can change. We can discuss the timing and frequency of sessions to find a rhythm that feels sustainable and supportive.

Whether we meet in person, online, or by phone, it’s important that you have a private and confidential space where you feel comfortable to talk.

I aim to accommodate those with demanding or irregular hours, and I keep my schedule as flexible as possible to reflect that.
Session fees vary depending on timing and frequency, and we can discuss this together when we first speak.
